When the kids are small, family worship is short and frustrating and lots of spilled milk and crying kids, but keep at it, because a decade later it is deep, and spiritually rich, and the roots of the trees from Psalm 1 are growing deep into the soil of scripture. Trust me, when your kids are praying real prayers and singing real songs and you are seeing real growth, all those years of frustration are worth it.
