I’ll be first in line to read “It’s Good to Be Married”! My husband and I greatly benefit from your writings here on substack. They are refreshing and so encouraging. Thank you!

Michael, thank you for this post. I am the Lead Pastor of a church plant, and I love your three-word statement, 'Local-Focused-Tangible'. We often forget that the vast majority of Puritans (and other local pastors) preached, taught, and wrote for their own local congregations. May more of us strive to labour in ambiguity, finish well, and hear the words, 'well done, good and faithful servant.' Soli Deo Gloria.

I am not a reformer nor a Calvinist, rather a free will (Armenian-ish) conservative gal and,as a woman, I work as a chaplain in vocational ministry.

Still, I love your posts and your sincerity and your heart for the goodness of the Lord.

Many blessings on your life, family, and ministry work ahead.

Arminian, rather. Predictive text wants to change it, but I am not from Armenia. 😊

Michael, I want to recommend to you an amazing ministry in Dry Ridge Kentucky (over near the Ark encounter) called Pure Life Ministries. These guys do incredible work for men caught in the grips of sexual sin. Less than an hour from Cincinnati. Seriously, I could not recommend them more highly.

I really enjoy your posts.

Not sure if you've already addressed this, is there a reason you're pursuing the PCA despite the problems you're calling out, vs smaller presbyterian denominations that seem less compromised, i.e. OPC?

I don't have an opinion that is worth two cents, but dropping the receipts before GA might not help the situation. This is politics and increasing volatility might backfire. For what it's worth

This is always the trap for active, justice-focused men. Do we do the thing and risk the turmoil, or do we hold back and wait for a better moment, risking it never coming?
