So sad to hear this. As a fellow Christian it seems almost impossible to understand the power that can enslave someone so deeply. I have a sister who dips in and out of addiction but yet loves Jesus, knows who He is and that she needs him desperately. It makes no sense.
After being in the reformed church for 22 years, and seeing so much destruction due to addictions and trauma, I can not emphasize enough how badly the church at large needs to learn about the practice of Inner Healing. The Remnant Radio teaches on it and it has set so many people free from the bondage of sabotaging beliefs and behaviors.
