Fun with Snow Inside

Mamas, are you worried about letting your children play outside today? As the Scandinavian proverb states, “There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.”

So if you have appropriate snow gear, don’t miss the opportunity. Set a 15 min timer (typical timeframe before frostbite begins) & go out on “a great explore” in your yard! Yes, even you! Be sure to some pictures, but mostly focus on seeing the world through their eyes. Then come in, cozy up & sip some hot cocoa! 🥰

Another great way to let littles play with the snow is to bring a bowlful or bin inside to play with. We have found setting it up in a bathtub or a walk-in shower helps to contain the mess. Diggers, cars, Calico Critters... the possibilities of things they could play with in their own are endless.

My favourite was when Hudson & Athan made a tiny snowman. Hudson named him Chicken Nugget. 😂
