One factor to consider in evaluating these sorts of folks is, "Can I adopt just one product/part and see how that goes, or do I have to swallow the whole thing?"
I pick and choose from everyone, especially in the Christian space. For example, I never bought into Bill Gothard's whole system, but there were some things of value. Same with many other Christian teachers. But that will keep you on the outside of most groups!
