currently making it a point to read PT Barnum's little book on money getting. where he goes into the 20 rules for making an keeping money. one of the really good pieces of advice in the book is to do what you know you are good at and if there is something else you want to do but you know nothing about how to do it pay somebody else to do it and pay attention to how they do it. he makes the point that we as humans in general and Christians in particular need the other members of the body in order to properly do anything. he says something to the effect of a good idea without hands to do it will breed tragedy. his name desire is to see Christians in America do one thing very good and let the Lord raise up men to do the other things.
How would you approach bible reading in that regard? I see people hailing the „bible in a year“ approach. But I suspect it’s more nuanced. Like a professional investor invests in individual stocks, Pete the plumber is best of with everything in an ETF. I thinks it’s similar with pastors and their flock. Where the pastors spent a lot more time in the word and in specific sections.

Thanks once again for your time. Focus and earlier bedtimes is a game changer for sure, got some things to cut.
