I'm abandoning The Surviving the Death of the Child book. It's always been a difficult project. However, the unexpected deaths of my brother and mother made it all too emotional. I did get 2/3 of the way there. It's just not enough for a book. I'll publish the finished chapters as a series of free blog posts hereand maybe finish the project someday. Maybe.
The content will also serve as the basis for three episodes of the We Made People podcast, which also got derailed by all the events leading up to my mother's death. Frankly, it has taken a year to get back to something like normal.
Speaking of We Made People, it is our passion project. It's not dead. Life just got hard and first things come first. We love being married and having kids. It is the good life. So, we are going to finish the "story" episodes of We Made People before relaunching later this year.
I am almost finished with the full outline with fairly detailed chapter descriptions of Blue Collar Confessionalism. It's like you blended up Shop Class as Soulcraft with Amusing Ourselves to Death and the Westminster Standards. I've got several publishers interested. We'll see how this goes.
