This is not a criticism, these are good observations, but honestly reading things like this are a danger to my joy - they encourage great sadness. One can work diligently and pray for God to restore, redeem, and return years taken by the locust, but there is no guarantee that He will do so. Joy and fulfillment must ultimately come from God. A good marriage is a priceless and (in this age I think) increasingly rare gift that should never be taken for granted by the recipients of such a gift.
