We have lived every single point in this article and more… violent, physical, spiritual etc. We also like how you not only define in simple terms the manipulative behaviour you also provide practical ways to counter which you back up with scripture.
We’ve come out the other side now (18 months ago) and just appreciate your words and descriptions which provide further confirmations. Every manipulative strategy you listed we lived under for decades.
A very sad situation for my family (4 kids, youngest now 18) but God has raised us up because we prayed, then our eyes were opened and we spoke the truth boldly about the narcissistic leader despite the enormous attacks from the ‘group think’. Through taking action we were set free and blessed greatly.
I thank Jesus for your words. Your articulation of your understandings of Gods Word, His orders and His love are so encouraging and are opposite to the message we were indoctrinated with.
